The Scottish Government has committed £545 million to fund the project, this does not seem like it is going to be enough. The German company, Bilfinger Berger, who are in charge of the consortium, is threatening to delay the project by up to 30 months due to a row over the estimated cost of the project. With a level of comfort and convenience a cut above the average, the dedicated group accommodation at Ocean Serviced Apartments is already the subject of backstage gossip among clever troupes and groups. “We’ve already had enquires referred to us by Festival goers, looking to stay here while enjoying the Festival and the Fringe” says Graeme Ferguson, Ocean’s Direct Sales Manager.
